I am home from Libertycon 32 which was held in Chattanooga, TN. With the recent turmoil in my life, I was hesitant to attend this year. Some friends and family stepped in and encouraged me to go. After all, I had everything paid for and we had been planning for a year. So I went. It was the best decision I have made in a while.
I very much needed contact with my extended convention family. I needed to talk to people outside of my everyday life. I needed my focus redirected and the encouragement of those dear friends I only see once a year. I feel so much better. My situation hasn’t changed but my outlook has improved immensely.
However, I am currently exhausted and barely coherent. I have a lot to say about this weekend but it will have to wait. I need a long nap first.
